Wedding Blessings
Be sensible,
get the legal paperwork done in your own country, but why not have your spiritual wedding ceremony in
the sun! Elaine suggests that following the civil ceremony, you can have your dream wedding blessing in Spain.
Wherever
you choose to have your wedding blessing - on the beach or in a spa hotel, it can be imaginative, traditional or
as simple as you wish. Elaine has a wealth of experience, and loves creating
personalised weddings that speak to the heart.
“Thank you for making our wedding in Spain so incredibly special”
– Dawn and John 2005
Same Sex Wedding Blessings
Elaine
offers a specially created spiritual wedding blessing which gives you the opportunity to pledge your love in a traditional
way, witnessed by friends and family. This can include readings, wedding vows and exchange of rings.
“I did not imagine our wedding could
be this beautiful.” – Sally and Cheryl 2000
Renewal of Wedding Vows
Renewing
your wedding vows is a wonderful way to celebrate a special anniversary, along with children, other family and
close friends. Elaine creates a renewal of vows ceremony that is specific to your experience of marriage, honouring those
elements that have brought joy and happiness.
“I have no words to explain how we
feel. Thank you.” – James and Tina 2006
Baby Blessings
Welcoming
a child into our lives and formally naming godparents or guides, is a beautiful gift for that little boy or girl. The
baby blessing ceremony can be done at any time during the first year, on the first birthday, or later. An adopted child can also be welcomed into the family with a child blessing ceremony, regardless of age.
These ceremonies create a sense of belonging for the child, and are rites of passage for the whole family.
“I saw the awakening in his face
as you blessed him...” - Sarah 2003
Memorial Services
A
memorial service can take place at any time. Some families choose the first anniversary of the passing. It is an opportunity
to celebrate the life of the person you loved, within a setting that honours the person's faith. Elaine creates
a temporary shrine to that person, and a memorial service which reflects the gifts he or she brought to this life.
“It was everything I had hoped for, and more…”
– Anne 2007
