Wedding Blessings
Interfaith
Ministers are able to perform a wedding blessing wherever you would like it to be. After you have sorted out the legal side
with a registrar, your wedding blessing is an opportunity to publicly declare your love in the company of friends and family.
If
you have a spiritual tradition or would like to include something religious that is meaningful to you, that will be honoured.
For those with no tradition, a ceremony can be created which speaks to the heart.
Wherever
and however you choose to have your wedding blessing , at sunset in a garden or combined with a
wedding breakfast in a hotel, in your own home or on a hilltop, it can be as imaginative, traditional or
simple as you wish.
Elaine has a wealth of experience, and loves creating personalised weddings with individual aspects which reflect the couple and their family. She has conducted wedding blessings in many
unusual places in the UK and in Spain, including a vineyard, a stately home, a country B and B, a beach and a private chapel.
“Thank you for making our wedding blessing so incredibly special. Our mothers were thrilled to
receive roses as part of the ceremony.” – Dawn and John 2005
Same Sex Wedding Blessings
Pledge
your love in the traditional way or have something completely different. Elaine offers a specially created wedding blessing
to be witnessed by friends and family. You can include music, wedding vows and exchange of rings in your blessing: the choice is yours.
“I never imagined our wedding blessing
could be this beautiful. ” – Sally and Cheryl 2000
Renewal of Wedding Vows
Renewing
your wedding vows is a wonderful way to celebrate a special anniversary, along with children, other family and
close friends. Elaine creates a renewal of vows ceremony that is specific to your experience of marriage, honouring those
elements that have brought joy and happiness through ritual and readings.
“I have no words to explain how we
feel. Our renewal of vows ceremony was so romantic. Your words were so moving and we loved the symbolism with the
flowers. Thank you.” – James and Tina 2006
