Susie and Alan wanted a wedding ceremony in their garden that would
include both their traditions. One is a fairly traditional Christian and the other unconventional Pagan. We created a wedding
that included blessing the rings with fire, earth, air and water, and using a modernised version of the traditional
Christian wedding vows. That was followed by a handfasting. The couple felt that their beliefs were represented and honoured.
This is what they said:
"This summer we had a wonderful wedding at our home and the day was made
even more special with Elaine conducting a very beautiful ceremony for us."

Parents
and family are an important part of any wedding blessing and this mother wrote: "I know it was my daughter that was getting married but I think it was one of
the most moving marriage ceremonies that I have ever had the pleasure of attending - thank you so very much. Everyone that
attended enjoyed it so much and was so moved by the ceremony. We all had such a wonderful time and have such wonderful memories"Denise and Tim Upton
Louise and Ben wanted something a little different in their wedding blessing but were not sure what.
We decided on an old tradition where the couple share a small cup of wine, whilst some words are read which explain that marriage
is both bitter and sweet, like the wine. It ends with a blessing for the cup of their lives to always be full. This
was their comment: "Thank you again for such a wonderful
wedding ceremony - you made it so special for us."Louise and Ben
Christine and Luke created their
own personal wedding vows, with a little help. They kept them private until the moment of reading them to one another.
They were beautiful and many tears were shed. Christine said: "Thank you so so much for such an AMAZING wedding ceremony and also for helping me in my
moment of panic over the vows. We had an absolutely fantastic day."
Pauline and Scott had their wedding blessing in Spain in the garden of a beautiful villa. Their guests sat beneath
the trees. Although Scott was very nervous, he was wonderful on the day. This is what he said: "Thank you for making my wedding day so special and personal. You gave me time
and advice with my vows and made everything so easy to follow; it helped keep my nerves under control. The wedding ceremony
itself was unbelievable. Thank you for everything."Scott and Pauline
John and Kat had a beach wedding
blessing. One of their friends sang a song that he had written especially for them - it was stunning. Here's what John
said: "The ceremony itself could not
have been any better for us, it was really special. I’d like to thank you again for playing such
an important role in making it so special. Both Kat and I got a really good feeling the first time we met
you."John

Diane and Gareth had a garden wedding ceremony. Their guests joined in to say a wedding blessing
directly to them. It was very moving. This is what they wrote: "We both wanted to say thank you for the beautiful
service on June 7th. All of our guests loved it."

Baby Naming Ceremony
Fiona and Ray wanted a baby naming to introduce little Darren to their friends.
We included the two older children in the ceremony, with each of them in turn holding the water for blessing. I suggested
the godfather create a "certificate" commemorating the day and he made something truly beautiful. The godmother
read out a wonderful poem that she had written. This is what Fiona said:
"This was more than
I could have dreamed of. What a lovely baby blessing ceremony - everything was just perfect.""
